Hello HXC Community,
Heading into our last full week as a complete team, we felt like we had some real momentum building. We wanted to build on last week's performance at conference and back that up with another great day at city. We by far had our best week of practice with many of our runners making it to the 5-mile mark on our long run day! Coming into city, we had some confidence and the team didn’t let us down with by far our best meet of the season! Overall, we had six medal winners and boys team trophied with a third place finish!
This upcoming week will be varsity only, but all other athletes are welcome to join us for practice if they’d still like to get a workout in. Please wash and have your athlete return their uniform to coach Stancati in Room 1204. Saturday’s bus will be at 7:00 at Herget with girls racing at 9:00 and boys at 9:40. Sectionals is located at Central Park, 201 Recreation Drive, Bolingbrook Il. 60440. Meet info packets will be given to athletes today but feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
