Hello HXC Community,
This past week, we wrapped up endurance camp and officially began our 2018 season. We had a great turnout this summer at endurance camp, averaging over 40 athletes per day! The hard work we put in will definitely pay dividends over the next few weeks. We had our first official time trial on Thursday, and those results can be found on www.runhxc.com Just a reminder that we will practice next week from 4:00-5:20 Monday-Friday. We will not practice on Saturday, but I will hand out some info for a great 5k on the 18th at Leroy Oaks in St. Charles if your child is interested.
Also, on Friday we will officially name our captains for the upcoming season. Captains are chosen based on captain applications they filled out at the end of the 2017 season as well as leadership qualities they demonstrated during endurance camp. Please remind your child to be hydrating throughout the day as it looks like we could be getting some warmer weather this week. Looking forward to a great season! #runhxc #beelite
