Conference Week

Hello HXC Community,
With our last weekday meet in the books, we are now fully focused on the invite portion of our season! Our athletes have been steadily dropping time and should all be proud of the progress they’ve made so far. Our athletes are working hard, setting goals, and taking ownership of their season, which is great to see! As we enter the last month of our season, I most certainly expect to see those times continue to drop as we begin to peak.
All results have been updated on www.runhxc.com, and you can track your athletes progress throughout the season. Last Thursday’s girls’ results were incorrect and have been updated. This Saturday, we will have our Conference Meet at Northwestern Medicine Cross Country Course in Geneva Il. Athletes will need to arrive at Herget at 7:30, so we have plenty of time to get to Northwestern and get warmed up before the girl’s varsity race. Info packets went out Tuesday, so hopefully those made it home, but feel free to reach out with any questions.
Special shout out to Coach Stancati who completed the Fox Valley Half Marathon last weekend and raised over $1,000.00 for Cals Angels. Great job, coach! Thanks to everyone for the continued support and we’re looking forward to a great last month of the season. #runhxc #beelite
