Week 4

Hello HXC Community,
Coming off an extended weekend and having our meet cancelled at the last minute on Tuesday, we were a little nervous how our times would look on Thursday. We were running against Batavia Rotolo, which is one of the biggest middle schools in the state and usually one of the top teams in the state. This meet was going to be a big measuring stick for us and how we were progressing. Both our teams put up strong showings, and we couldn’t be more pleased with our progress! On the girls side, we finished in 2nd place and just 11 points behind Rotolo with season PR performances from: Abbey (12:28), Caroline (13:55), Brooke (14:27), and Mia (16:40).
The boys exceed our expectations and easily had their best race of the season, placing our top 5 within the top 7 of the race to secure the victory. The boys could be on the verge of a special season if we keep progressing at this rate and continue to work hard! Huge PR performances from Nathan (10:44), Mason (11:48), Greyson (12:04), Lachlan (12:15), Nate M. (13:32), Finley (14:19), Michael (15:41), Johnny (17:58), and Dominick (19:23).
This upcoming week, we have just one meet on Tuesday at Washington. Also, t-shirt orders are due Wednesday if you wanted one of those. Looking forward to another great week! #runhxc #beelite
