Welcome to the 2024 Season!

Hello HXC Community,
I just wanted to take a minute and welcome everyone to the 2024 season! Cross Country is a sport where ALL athletes can experience success and have a lot of fun along the way! In fact, in my fifteen years of coaching, every athlete who has ran the first time trial of the season has improved on that time throughout the season. We stress the importance of doing the best “YOU” can do and not worrying about comparing yourself to others. We take great pride in building a “family environment” where everyone feels valued and respected on the team. That being said, we definitely challenge our athletes to get the most out of them and carry on our proud tradition at Herget!
If you’re new to the program, please check our website at www.runhxc.com. Here you will find all kinds of useful information including our schedule. If you click on a meet, the location will pop up on a map. You can also access full meet results from the schedule tab. Individual results will be posted under the results tab. I have Friday’s time trial posted. I will update the roster as soon as it is set. You can follow us on twitter @runhxc
This upcoming week is going to be a hot one! Due to the weather we will be canceling today and tomorrow will use our time to hand out uniforms and have our new atheletes do the concussion baseline test. Practice will end at 4:50 tomorrow (8-26) and tomorrow only due to weather so please make that adjustment. We will also have no practice on Friday 8-30) for the Labor Day Weekend. On Sundays, I will send out our weekly email that recaps the previous week as well as previewing the upcoming one. Looking forward to a great season! #runhxc #beelite

Is there practice today (Monday, Aug 26)? Did you mean practice will end Tuesday, Aug 27 at 4:50?
